Booking for surgery

  1. Initial deposit  of $300 for approval of surgery has to be made at the time of booking, This has to be done by you in your country before leaving for INDIA.
  2. Bank details/Western Union details / Paypal details will be provided after verification.

Estimate for Hernia Surgery

  1. During first online consultation checkup , a rough idea of expenses, estimate is given to patients by surgeon or staff.
  2. Estimate may vary 5-15% as per individual patient.
  3. Patients requiring special attention for Diabetes,Asthma,Epilepsy,Hypertension may require additional resourses that may increase cost of overall surgery.
  4. If you book surgery by paying $300 and arrive in India for surgery after 6 months or 1 year, then the estimate of expenses may change, which was given to you at the time of booking. ( Due to inflation )

What is permission procedure from Government officials before admission in Hospital?

There is a special permission which is required for International patients coming to India for any surgery. We have dedicated staff which takes documents from you,fill out a form for permission. This is submitted to Govt. Officials for approval. Once they approve your surgery from Indian doctor then you can get admitted in hospital for that procedure.

According to Indian law, we strictly follow these procedures to avoid any inconvenience to patient of doctor.

In this case, you will have to pay a fee of $100-110.

Do you have authorised hospital for treating International patients?

We have enlisted Oyster and Pearl Hospital as our panel consultant hospital for treatment and surgery of the International patients. This is Government approved hospital to treat International patients. So you are well assured that you will get facilities and services according to International American standards.

What are details of upgradation to better rooms for accomodation?

  1. You will be entitled rooms as per your quoted plan.
  2. If you want to upgrade from semi-pvt room to Pvt room then you will have to pay the difference.
  3. Please note that all other allied charges for the updraded room will apply. Like surgeon fees, OT charges,Nursing charges will raise.
  4. It is not like only room charges will change. Other charges will be levied according to category.
  5. If you downgrade the room allowed, then you will not get any refund.
